Innovative giving tools and solutions
print friendly

SCCF offers a variety of giving solutions designed to accomplish your charitable goals and objectives, while meeting your life needs at the same time.

  • The SCCF Giving Fund® – The SCCF Giving Fund is a giving tool that allows you to make tax-deductible gifts and then take time to prayerfully consider the causes you want to support, before recommending grants to charities.

  • The SCCF Legacy FundSM – This is an enhanced type of SCCF Giving Fund in which SCCF assumes greater responsibility to ensure that your giving intent and granting desires are carried out faithfully during your lifetime, or after you are gone.  SCCF Legacy Fund balances are normally around $1 million.

  • Charitable Remainder Trust – You transfer assets into the trust, you receive payments for personal use for a set period of time, and the remaining trust balance goes to charity.

  • Charitable Lead Trust – You transfer assets into the trust, you make ongoing payments to charity, and the remaining trust balance goes to your heirs after your death.

  • Charitable Gift Annuity – You make a gift to SCCF (minimum $10,000), and we agree to pay you a fixed amount for the rest of your life (or lives, for a two-person example).  Immediately or upon your death, the amount remaining for charity is distributed according to your wishes.

  • Supporting Organization – This is a 501(c)(3) legal entity that offers you more grantmaking control than an SCCF Giving Fund, but less than a private foundation.  A Supporting Organization may be the right solution for those interested in combining grantmaking and ministry activity in a single giving tool.
